To Feel Part of Something Bigger…

An Event That Speaks the Language of Guitar

The Guitar Show in Bologna isn’t just an exhibition; it’s a meeting point. It’s where enthusiasts, artists, brands, and music schools that live and breathe this instrument every day come together. The 2025 edition was a burst of energy, featuring international artists, rare instruments, and innovations that hint at the future of music. For us at Nexus Music Academy, it was thrilling. We presented our authentic feels: with vision, method, and desire to genuinely contribute to people’s musical growth.

Who We Are, A Few Words

Nexus Music Academy is an online music school with a simple yet ambitious mission: guiding  every musician, from enthusiast to professional, through a structured, serious, and international learning path. Founded by Davide Ciardo, Claudio Mirano, and Mary, Nexus combines rigorous teaching, technology, and human connection. Our strength? An active community and a carefully trained and selected faculty that works daily to build an adaptable and truly effective method.

Bologna 2025: The Six-String’s Beating Heart

Between performances by artists like Chris Buck, Phil Palmer, and Jack Gardiner, and packed stands showcasing vintage instruments and brand-new releases, the Guitar Show 2025 cemented its role as a key event in Europe.

We met brands such as Ibanez, Mogar Music, and Line6, as well as startups revolutionizing the industry like Dan’s Guitar Store and Guitar Scientist, whose PerformAXE truly impressed us. For anyone who loves guitar, every corner offered an opportunity for discovery.

Our Contribution: An Important Step

Thanks to a partnership with MMI International, Davide Ciardo brought our musical approach to the stage, engaging in a guitar dialogue with colleagues and MMI branch directors from all across Italy. It was an atmosphere of discussion, respect, and shared passion. We found attention, enthusiasm, and great curiosity from students, visitors, and industry professionals alike.

A Workshop… On Stage

It wasn’t just a live gig. It was a chance to practically demonstrate what it means to apply the Nexus Method live: precision, musicality, and attention to detail. The goal wasn’t to impress; it was to communicate. And that’s exactly what we did, note by note.

New Connections, New Ideas

Beyond the performance aspect, the Guitar Show gifted us with many valuable encounters. We spoke with companies, colleagues, and other educators, sowing ideas, listening to feedback, and gathering inspiration that we’ll incorporate into our journey. Our method garnered significant interest, and some conversations started in Bologna could soon transform into strong and long lasting collaborations.

What We Learnt

An event like this leaves a lasting impression. As co-founders, we had the opportunity to observe new trends up close, engage with industry giants, and, most importantly, realize that we’re heading in the right way. Backing home, we’re more eager than to grow. With humility, but also with an added certainty: quality gets recognized, even in a competitive and crowded environment.
