This text goes beyond the typical characteristics of the "modern singing method" and is proposed as a source of support, both for the student and for the teacher, to understand the many aspects that converge in the teaching of singing, in order to correctly and effectively achieve one's own artistic realization. The body as an instrument is the most fascinating aspect of the expression of art through sounds. The singer involves himself in every moment of artistic expression: the more intimate and conscious the control of his vocal medium, the higher his ability to communicate emotions that spring from his existential "I". Singing communicates sounds and timbres that evoke moods and at the same time transmits thoughts in poetic form, translating those sounds into growth and understanding of living, helping the listener to get involved and convey himself in tune with the interpreter: in short, living, growing and understanding through a song is the goal he reaches when his communication with the listener gives these results. The melody is an unheard silence that takes shape and is heard by those who listen with the heart and those who sing with it.
